Grizzly`s in Mankato

Tasted well enough, but I was given a meal that was short for an appetizer. Everyone else in our group of 5 got a good amount but mine was certainly lacking, the to go container looked more like leftovers than an entree.

Service was great,food was awesome, our first time back after a long time. We see were spending gifts cards so we went all in. We both ended up bringing food home. We will to go again

Oh man this place is GREAT! the atmosphere is warm and inviting, the menu is diverse and delicious, the portion sizes are satisfying, and the staff is friendly! I haven’t been able to find a bad thing about this place! Definitely good for a date night or lunch in Mankato!

Got a recommendation from a random stranger to go here. Try the cheese curds, the wings, the chili, and the giant drinks. You literally can't go wrong at this place. Everything I saw here at other people's tables looked to-die-for. Just do it.

Great staff and plenty of choices on the menu! Skillet steak is the bomb!

Food is great, beer is cold, very nice. Bartender remembered our previous beer order on our second visit. Chicken is excellent!

Exciting Menu. Extremely Delicious food & drinks. Everyone is so nice & accommodating... They treat U like 1 of the Family.... Yum can't weight.... 4 the Salmon & Fresh Vegetables. That Jalapeno Pineapple & Icy Water...

My ribs were great, wife's were dry, sitting by north windows is very cold! Overall I liked my first experience and will go again someday.

Me and my wife had one of the BEST dining experiences here. Our server Cayla was Very Attentive and was willing to make acomedations to better enjoy our meal. The food was good and did merit 3.5-stars alone but our server made our meal and our day.

Took over an hour for food. Steak was undercooked, husbands fries were cold. Salad and bread had to be asked for after main dishes were brought. Dessert was over cooked. MAYBE will try again in the future. But doubt it. Restaurant was also chilly inside.

Delicious food. Comfortable surroundings. Excellent, accomodating service. Only place I know in Minnesota where you can get southern fried pickles as an appetizer.

We went on Halloween, and it wasn't busy. The food was great. We had the roasted chicken and steak. Our server was amazing! She made sure our drinks were always filled. We didn't have to wait long for anything. Will definitely go back if we are in Mankato again.

The steak I had was a little dry but still good, the egg rolls were really good

First time here. I looked at the menu prior to going, and got my mind set on the aged ribeye, it was excellent medium-rare! The salad, sides, drinks and service were excellent too!

We had dinner last night here. It was fantastic. Cheese curds were the best I have every had. I had the Bear Creek Pasta and my husband had the Chicken and Ribs. Both were delicious. Prices were good and the service was great. We will definitely be going back when in the area again.

Had a delicious burger and sweet potato fries. The Irish Mike was great too. Our waiter was knowledgeable with gluten free items as well. Totally worth it.

The wait staff was awesome and the host was great also. Food was good, by plate was piping hot but my friends sirloin tips were cold. The ranch was watered down. Also the broclie wasnt washed right you could tell easy. Also the carrot on my friends plate was rubber city. 3 stars this visit.

Absolutely awesome. Get within 1/2mile of this place and the smell sucks you in. Once in, it doesn't disappoint. I stop by everytime I visit Mankato for work.

Took a while to be seated, not because it was busy either. However, that is easily forgivable. Food was over the top fantastic, hardly any wait, and great service. This is a hidden gem that is in plain site. Highly recommended.

Food was great staff was still very helpful and friendly. Even though there were extremely busy.

We got there thinking this place is awesome then we wait for an hour. We fer our food and it is delicious! Then she gives us our bill and doesn't come back for about 20 mins. We have to go to the bar area and pay and she acts like nothing happened. Very disappointed. Not ever coming back.

Called to make a reservation for 8 people with kids for 6:15 after calling multiple places for the same time. When I got there they said they had a reservation for 7:15 and the Manager guy was rude and said he repeated it back to me on the phone and he was like that’s when you can be here. I told him no that is not what happened and that the time slot was actually the ONLY reason we chose to go there (they also spelt my name wrong which is common too) but I couldn’t go to other places because of church and late night for kids. Needless to say we left after he was so rude.Also,People parked wherever they felt like, not even from snow. Parking lot is awful, full of pot holes both lit up signs are missing multiple letters.

Food was okay, service was a bit slow. I am not sure I would be back if I lived here. There has to be better options locally. Atmosphere was also just okay...

I realize the current virus issue is a very large problem however my wife's soup was over cooked and my fajita meal tasted great but the meat was tough Staff is excellent and have had great experiences b4 Hope things get back to normal when we all can be normal again

Great place to eat good food. The reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is that the portion sizes are smaller, yup what happened?? Thought I ordered off the kids menu when I was served the Bear Creek pasta. Others in my party was served more pasta as a side then I did for the entrée. Ribs were tough and you had to cut the meat off the bone with a knife.

Highly recommend the cheese curds!!! I am telling you hands down the best i have ever eaten

Service was excellent! Food was delicious! My husband loved the fried cheesy hashbrowns so much that he ordered 2 more sides of them!

Food was excellent, cooked precisely to order. They have an outdoor patio for quieter seating. We chose to sit there because we had out 2 small children with us. The server tried to be attentive, but I think he may have been running inside and outside tables, which left us with a bit of a forgotten feeling. But still overall, a great experience!

Appetizers were great. Meals not so much. And I think our waitress needed some extra training. She wasn't sure about beer or tap. Pop you had available. And I had to remind her numerous times about refills. Nachos were fabulous tho.

Looking for good chicken, amongst other delicious meals, check no further. Past the place a few times and the smoked-smell got me curious. Finally went in and loved it! Turns out, the rotisserie is right at the entrance. Explains the yummy smell : )Prices and portions are decent. Staff have been good every time I've visited.Meal options are creative and worth trying.

The service was GREAT! Very attentive server and the food was awesome. The ribs are the bomb. I normally don't like white meat chicken and this was very juicy. Very happy with my visit!

Burger was a little crunchy on outside, not a deal breaker....however French Fries were way overcooked, plus some kinda weird coating on fries, too salty. My companion had the burnt ends platter, she claimed it was delicious and she highly recommends it!

Delicious food with indoor seating. Their service personnel were very friendly. There was social distancing and service people wore masks.

The ribs were sssooo good and tender. The shrimp and pineapple appetizer was just scrumptious and the coleslaw was just perfect.

This restaurant is extremely dirty. It has been for a long time. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is. The carpet was filthy and clearly hasn't been cleaned in awhile. They have a good selection on there menu but you cant help but wonder what your eating after looking at the thick layer of dust and dirt on the window blinds.
